What to include
- Which page, by its address, and which field or which line on it. A figure here usually belongs to one calculator and one source, and naming the page narrows the hunt to both.
- What you entered, and what came back. Copy the link out of the address bar after you have typed your figures in: on the calculators the entries ride along in that link, so it reproduces exactly what you were looking at.
- A photograph of the label, or the text off it, whenever a strength, a percentage or a limit on your container differs from the one a page uses. Strengths are revised between printings, and the registration number on the panel is what lets the change be traced to the document that carries it.
- Which document you are reading, if a quotation looks off — its title and its date. Quotations here are matched against text saved from the source, so the useful question is which printing each of us is holding.
Where a report leads to a change here, it is listed with its date on what changed.
