Pool Chemistry Log & Dosing Chart Pack: Printable Log Sheets, Dosing Charts for 5,000-40,000 Gallons
A 22-page printable pack for home pool owners who want one place to record test results and look up what to add.

What it does
Twice-a-day chlorine and pH check sheets (the CDC's testing advice for home pools) and full-test log sheets keep a season of readings together. Dosing charts for chlorine, alkalinity, calcium hardness, stabilizer and salt give you the amount for 5,000 to 40,000 gallons, and a one-time table turns them into your own pool's amounts. A target-range page says who set each number (CDC for home pools, or the public-pool code it borrows from), and a safety page gives each chlorine label's own re-entry line for swimming. Every dose is computed from published constants; the solid-chemical, acid and salt figures agree with PHTA's dosing guide, and where a published figure differs (liquid chlorine, for one) the pack says why. Estimates for planning, not professional advice: your product label always wins.
What's included
Log sheets
- 2 twice-a-day check sheets, two weeks to a page (FC and pH, twice a day, plus chemicals added); print as many as your season needs
- 6 landscape full-test log sheets (84 test lines): FC, CC, pH, TA, CH, CYA, salt, temperature, chemicals added, notes, with the ranges printed above each sheet
- Season summary: monthly low/high per reading, out-of-range count, chemical spend and quantity tracker
- Pool profile and product label record (strength, basis, specific gravity), with the 11.9% vs 15% jug-label trap explained
Dosing charts
- Order of adjustment (Indiana Dept. of Health sequence), what trichlor, dichlor and cal hypo add to the water, and a per-1-ppm table with a column to fill in for your own pool
- 4 pages of dosing charts: liquid chlorine, cal hypo, dichlor, trichlor; baking soda; muriatic and dry acid; calcium chloride; cyanuric acid; salt; water-replacement percentages for high stabilizer
- "Work Out a Dose" worksheet with the formula, constants and a worked example, for any product or strength
Reference
- Volume worksheet: rectangle, round, oval (two published formulas, and why they differ) and kidney
- Target-range page with the source of each figure, and the lowest everyday free chlorine for any stabilizer level (CDC minimum or CYA / 45)
- Opening and closing checklists (order for the water only, not freeze protection)
Safety
- Chemical safety page: never-mix rules and handling quotes from CDC, EPA and the MAHC unchanged; calcium hypochlorite vs trichlor/dichlor incompatibility; each chlorine label's re-entry limit; sources and where published sources disagree
